The Mudsharks are Bucknell University’s premier Men’s & Women’s Ultimate Frisbee Club, known for their competitive spirit, tight-knit community, and love for the game. As one of the most active and spirited club sports on campus, the Mudsharks bring together students of all class years who are passionate about ultimate and eager to compete at a high level.
The team practices 2–3 times per week, typically on the intramural fields, where they focus on conditioning, skill development, team strategy, and scrimmaging. The Mudsharks compete in USA Ultimate’s College Division III, attending numerous tournaments throughout the fall (preseason) and spring (competitive season). These tournaments range from local scrimmages to large multi-day events, and often involve travel to other colleges and universities in the region.
In the spring, the Mudsharks compete in the USAU College Series, which includes sectional and regional tournaments, with the potential to qualify for D-III Nationals. Off the field, the team fosters a fun and welcoming culture, with plenty of team bonding events, road trip traditions, and a supportive alumni network.
Whether you’re an experienced player or completely new to the sport, the Mudsharks are always looking for enthusiastic and committed athletes who are ready to learn, compete, and be part of something special.
